रयूमेटाइड अर्थराइटिस एक पुरानी सूजन की बीमारी होती है। यह शरीर के जोड़ों को प्रभावित करती है। रयूमेटाइड अर्थराइटिस के कारण दर्द और सूजन की समस्या हो सकती है। इसका मामला गंभीर होने पर हड्डियों का विकास भी प्रभावित होने लगता है जिसके कारण शारीरिक विक्लांगता की समस्या भी हो सकती है। रयूमेटाइड अर्थराइटिस के कारण कुछ लोगों में शरीर की कुछ प्रणालियों को ज्यादा नुकसान भी पहुंच सकता है जो उनकी स्किन, आंखों, फेफड़े, हृदय और ब्लड वेसेल को भी प्रभावित कर सकता है।
